Emergent Form

2004– 1.7m, Wood
A form discovered within the trunk, revealed through carving rather than imposed by design. The natural grain and movement of the wood guided the process, allowing the shape to emerge organically. Fluid contours contrast with the structured base, embodying a balance between raw material and sculptural intent. A dialogue between what was already there and what was waiting to be uncovered.
